Help answer the question about blackberry review
Why are there bad reviews for the Blackberry Storm?Hi, I am getting the Blackberry Storm this weekend and I'm so pumped. But…I keep hearing that there are bad reviews for it and I cant imagine why. I have gone to 4 Verizon stores to play with the Blackberry to make sure it's what I want, and it is.
So anyways, my question, "Why are there bad reviews for it?"
PS- please do not comment on my service provider, I am looking for answers about the phone itself.
Thanks!,
Kevin

thanks for the great review. Question: is there a way to turn OFF the clicking sound? I can see where that would be bothersome/annoying if you’re in a quiet location and need to send emails/text messages. Thanks.

I have a Blackberry 7100i. After 6 months the software crashed from no fault of my own and the only way to fix it is to buy a replacement. I would go with a Treo if I were you. My boss has had his for about 2 years with no problems, and it comes with a lot more software that the blackberry doesn't.

I am not sure what you mean by review. The below news article highlights the issues people are having with the handset and Vodafone UK.

The BlackBerry® Curve 8330 smartphone delivers on the BlackBerry promise with no compromises. BlackBerry push technology is designed to deliver emails to your smartphone as they arrive so you read and respond to them. And its applications work together so you can email a web page to one of your contacts while you're browsing the web, or listen to music as you read and respond to your emails. In addition to the push technology reliability, the Curve also offers VZ Navigator, BroadbandAccess Connect and a 2 megapixel camera with flash. These powerful features round out the total package that the sleek and elegantly–designed Curve offers.
There for its a awesome phone.
Hope this helps.

In love with the blackberry series. I had the pear before I got the curve and have to say its great. The internet is speedy, great service, awesome messaging features, and very user friendly. I have to say the only downfall to most of the blackberry phones is the trackball can break and when that happens your shit out of luck for lack of a better term. Good luck and try to go through Verizon.

if you don’t keep all the messages from a contact, but you hold down on their name.. will the deleted messages show up too?

Sent messages are shown with a check mark on you screen in the messages icon. If you do not see them, then they may be hidden. To unhide them do this:
Go into your email account
Click the menu key
Select OPTIONS
Select GENERAL OPTIONS
Scroll to HIDE SENT MESSAGES
Click the menu key
Select CHANGE OPTION
Select NO
Hit the ESCAPE key to the right of the pearl
When prompted SAVE your changes.
