New Motorola Mobile Phones
By
Motorola, Inc. is a multinational company based in Schaumburg, Illinois in the United States. The main product that they manufacture is wireless telephone handsets – but they have a complete line of other electronic products as well.
In the United Kingdom the Motorola subsidiary was established way back in 1967. Since that year, Motorola has grown to become the country’s leading electronics company.
So how do the mobile handsets designed by Motorola differ from all the units produced by other mobile phone manufacturers? Their goal as a company is to offer customers “must-have” experiences – spanning different mobile, music and video applications.

A Review of the Motorola E8 ROKR
The Motorola E8 ROKR became available last May of 2008. Basically, it is a 2G music phone. The most distinctive feature of the Motorola E8 ROKR is the keypad interface which Motorola calls the ModeShift.
What it does it to automatically change the context of the keypad, depending on what functionality the phone is currently at. Through the smooth glass surface of the phone, you can also utilize the localized touch feedback system which gives the phone that feel of having a real keypad or buttons.
Motorola E8 ROKR Specifications
Here are the features that you should expect from the Motorola E8 ROKR:
- 2-inch, 320×240 pixel color display
- 2-Megapixel camera with 8x zoom
- MP3, AAC player
- 2GB internal memory
- GPRS, Bluetooth and USB connectivity
- 3.5 mm headphone jack
What the Motorola E8 ROKR has to Offer
The Motorola E8 ROKR is actually a predecessor of the Motorola E6 ROKR. The good thing about this mobile phone is the brilliant design and the eye candy display.
As mentioned earlier, the Motorola E8 ROKR has an innovative keypad design. The name of the phone is pronounced as “rocker” which should give you an idea that this is primarily a music phone.
The Motorola E8 ROKR does not disappoint in this department. This mobile phone makes use of the CrystalTalk technology. What it does is amplify your conversation and filter out the background noise if you are making or receiving calls in a noisy environment.
There is also stereo Bluetooth and the PC-connecting feature of the music player. If you are looking for a mobile phone which uses unique technologies such as FastScroll and ModeShift – then the Motorola E8 ROKR is definitely for you.
The sleekness of the design, the seamless integration of music and mobile phone features are the pros while the con is that it does not have 3G. All in all – the Motorola E8 ROKR is a mobile phone which is definitely worth checking out.

How to Review Missed Calls on Motorola SLVR cell phone?I cannot find a menu item that allows me to review missed calls. There is an option to review received calls (I answered all of these) and an option to review dialed calls. I cannot find an option to review missed calls. Does anyone know how to do this?

Best review I’ve seen so far on YouTube.
I really do like this phone, mainly because of the form factor and unusual display, however I think it’s just a bit too basic for me.

I don't think so but interesting point… sort of like an iPod u say huh? I think it wold act more of an downloading effect like new hardware for uploading your photo's from your phone to the comp. instead of recognizing it as a charging device. Unsure though, I might try it and see.

Try going to http://www.phoload.com/m on your phone's browser. You should be able to download games direct to your phone. The website automatically detects your phone model/type and will send you the correct version for your phone. I hope it works for you!

I wish motorola would make another phone like this, except with a dot matrix display. That would be immensely more awesome.

Sidekick phones are made exclusively just for T-Mobile. However there are several manufacturing companies that design and manufacture the Sidekick phones. The Sidekick 2 and 3 were originally made by Sharp. The operating system for the Sidekick is created by Danger. The newer Sidekick Slide is manufactured by Motorola. The Sidekick LX is manufactured by Sharp. This is the first time that Sidekick has ever gone with Motorola to make their Sidekick devices they have usually always been made by Sharp.

In the manual, it should tell you this:
Press:
***470* then the call button.
remember.
***470* asks you if you would like to change the time format.
Dont forget to press the green call button after those keys.
If you still need help just lemme know.
