what is this “zag” he keeps talking about???????

2

doesnt also come with the headphone jack cover thing 2?

3

Just put my Rebel Tiger on and it looks even better in person. There’s no sag on the bottom, it covers all of the chrome, and just feels great. Sadly they didn’t include a headphone cover thingy, it wasn’t included in the instructions or the manual. But really, buy this case.

5

yeah but make sure it says iphone in the title description, there are some rip offs that look the same as the iphone.

and if u have any problems, major problems go and report them, and you should be alright.

Hi Angelle R ,

I agree about Electroforless. Their reviews stink but $299.99 is a pretty good price. Usually if it sounds too good it is.

You might be better off on eBay but $300 is pretty low for an Iphone. I have decided against one myself. To many bad vibes about battery life and having to send it in for battery replacement.

when you have invisible shield on your iphone, switcheasy rebel is not fit on your iphone perfectly ? such as showing little bit of chromes….

I traded some freelance software development work for my iPhone, so I didn't have to shell out the cash for it. Not sure if I would have paid for it.

Having said that, I love the phone. After having it for over a month, I cannot imagine not having it now. I went through the same thing with TiVo. I got a free unit (rebate) with my DirectTV years ago and living without one is rough.

Pros
-8gig iPod (integrates with my iTunes which was already setup for my old iPod, that I no longer need to carry) I know its not as big, but 8gig is plenty for me. I used this part of the phone everyday at my job while I work.
-Web browser. Much better than the browsers on my Treo or Blackjack phones. I have to carry a BlackBerry for work and the browser on that is horrid, too. Browser performs really well and can have multiple windows open. Renders everything, other than Flash :(
-Youtube. Sounds lame, but its entertaining and can eat up the time if you're stuck someplace.
-Google maps. Again, I had downloaded and installed the maps viewer for my Blackjack, but the interface on the iPhone is much better.
-Visual voicemail. If you get a lot of messages, its handy to just look at a list of people that called and skip to their message without listening to others. Or you can delete one without calling in and listening.
-screen quality. By far the best I've owned. Touch interface is nice after you get used to it, too. I believe its glass, so I've gotten no scratches, but you do get the oily smudges on it. That is the same with every smartphone, though.
-Images app. I uploaded family photos to it and it looks a lot better than the digital photo frames and products like that. Obviously the screen is smaller, though.

Cons
-no Flash support on the browser. My understanding is that this is something Apple is dragging their feet on.
-Camera. Not bad for a phone, but nothing you would use on a daily basis.
-8gig storage. I remember getting all hyped up about my first PC with a 1.2gig harddrive. Its easy to use up the space if you have a large music collection. Not really a knock, but I'm sure they will release a larger capacity now that I have an iPhone.
-plug interface. Requires me to buy new chargers for the car, etc rather than the standard mini-usb jack on many phones.
-AT&T only (unless you hack it). Not a problem for me since I was already on AT&T, but some people will have issues with this.

I know they are making a 3G version of the iPhone next year to use the faster data network. I would assume they would upgrade the storage as well.

Basically, if you do not have a library of music in iTunes, are anti-Apple, do not browse the web on the go, and just need a basic cellphone, this is not for you at all. I use it for my consulting work and its been a better product for me personally than the windows mobile phones and the Blackberry.

Search for “Invisible Shield”.

Um, not a razor! I recently got a razor with Sprint company and it is slow, it freezes quite often, and I constantly have to keep plugging it the charger. Um I would try the original phone you suggested… the samsung m300. i'm not sure what it looks like but i'm sure it'll do the job.

Good luck!

I purchased the CECT P168 a couple of weeks ago, and I'm incredibly satisfied with it. As I have not seen the "real" iPhone, I can't make a direct comparison, thus I will only say a few things about the P168. It's incredibly intuitive, and thus not only easy, but fun to use. The built in camera takes pretty decent pictures and video, however it will NOT replace a digital camera as the quality is not fantastic. You can set your favorite MP3's as your ringtones, etc. You can set the phone to play a specific ring tone or MP3 when somebody calls. If you have a picture, you can also set it so that the persons picture comes up on the screen when they call. So if you have 50 different people that call you, you can conceivably have 50 different ring tones and pictures, etc. Dialing with the screen is not a problem at all. Much easier than with a normal cell phone in my opinion. The phone is LOUD! I guess it is loud because it has 6 speakers built into it. This is somewhat of a downside because when you set the volume to the lowest setting, it's still quite loud. If you set it at the highest setting, your neighbors will probably complain, lol. Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately for some, the vibrating is quite standard, like any phone. It will play video, however, you should use a converter of some sort to reduce the size of the video file. By size I mean both the file size and also the "screen" size. The video playback is ok, but I have not found the perfect "conversion" settings just yet to make watching movies or TV shows quite comfortable. So, it's not the best video player out there in short. It does do voice recording, and at very good quality. The speaker phone function works well. It's storage capacity can be expanded via a larger microSD card, definite bonus. The headset uses a non-traditional connector, but, whatever, it's not a BFD. The back battery cover is very hard to pull off. There is a youtube video of a guy demonstrating 1 way of pulling the battery cover off, but actually it was not the best for me, my hands apparently are not as strong as his were. I use a different technique which is much gentler on the phone, certainly also this technique won't ruin the back cover either. Battery life is good. My phone lasts about 1.2 weeks on standby with the bluetooth turned off. Internet access is great (once you configure it properly to work with your carrier). You can install 2 SIM cards into it, but you can only use 1 of SIM cards at a time, but it's very easy to switch between the SIMS via the menu options.

It comes with only 1 game, and I actually have so far not seen anywhere I can get more games for it. The OS this phone uses, from what I understand, was written using Trolltech's Qtopia development platform. I'm certain games and applications will eventually pop up on the web, but I have not seen them to date. It could be that applications exist, but my knowledge of what programs would be compatible with this phone is not great, and without this knowledge, I might simply be overlooking programs that could work with it. It's a great phone. Is it better than the real iPhone?? I don't know. Plenty of people say it is, others say it isn't. If your a sensible person, I hope you realize most of these people are full of shirt, only he who has both phones can truly say which is better.

This is for sure the easiest, must functional, and most practical phone I have ever owned.

Hope this helps! If you want more specifics, please add extra details to your question and I'll try to tackle them.

u r just a little bit annoying man, just get on with the review ffs….20 minutes, really?

13

They didn't actually lower the price. You have to pay every month along with the AT&T charges. This is just to fool people. The price of the phone without contract is $599/$699 for 8GB/16GB, but it's not happening yet.

14

Ok…here is the real facts. The iPhone has not been rated a good phone by all of the "smart" rating companies. The iPhone in my opinion is a waste of money. Apple isn't ready nor smart enough to make a cell phone…wow it is shiny and it has wi-fi…but who needs wi-fi when you have like Verizon's broadband on your cell phone! I want you to check out this link…they match the iPhone up to the Voyager in a dual…it is actually pretty cool…not the iPhone..the people who rate it!

if you dont like him, why are you watching his vids? go watch child porn you retard.

17

I'm also having a hard choice between the two. The iPhone 3g and the Dare are the exact same price, $199. In my opinion I think the iPhone is much better, because it is easier to use and is already compatible with my Mac and iTunes, so you would just have to plug in and you're ready to go. The Dare is also very cool, but I've heard a couple complaints about the touch screen, internet, and qwerty keyboard. Whichever phone you go with I'm sure you will like, but if I could, I would chose the new iPhone. Unfortunatly, I'm stuck with Verizon, so it looks like the Dare is my only option.
