User Review Of The Motorola Razr2 V9m For Verizon
By
Before purchasing any model, you would be smart to read some user reviews. The Motorola Razr2 V9m is a very good phone, but you should understand exactly what you’re buying before you make your purchase.
Before we get started, we should make it clear that this review is of the Motorola Razr2 V9m for use with Verizon Wireless. There is a version with the exact same model number that is being sold through Sprint, and there are also other versions of the Razr2.
The Verizon version of the Razr2 V9m is a really great phone. The design of the model was done very well, and users have responded well to the copper color scheme that was chosen for it. The Sprint version isn’t as appealing, so if you’re a Verizon user you got lucky in that aspect. The speaker independent dialing that can be accessed from the outside screen is one of its best features.
The reception of the Razr2 V9m is great with Verizon, in fact it sounds much better than it does on Sprint’s network. Data seems to work great, although the Ev-Do reception was weaker in our area than it is with some other handsets Verizon has released.
One negative aspect we were able to find on the Razr2 for Verizon was the weak address book. Ironically the address book doesn’t have a field so store the physical address of your contacts. Why is it called an address book? Nobody knows.
The camera of the model is ok at best. When we took pictures with the model, they almost always came out fuzzy and soft. The colors that were captured seemed to be a little off, there was a lot of purple in the pictures that wasn’t there in real life. Even though the camera quality wasn’t exceptional, there aren’t that many models that are any better so don’t buy something else for this reason unless you’ve tested the picture quality yourself.
The audio on the model wasn’t that great to be honest. Even though Verizon deems this model as a music phone, there is very little memory to store music, so a separate card must be purchased. It’s also fairly difficult to get music onto the model.
VZ Navigator works very well on this model, which means that the user can get great GPS directions, if they’re willing to pay the monthly fee for access. The maps seem to load quickly on the model, which is a step up from many of the other phones that are compatible with the service.
Overall, it’s a really good phone. Like any other model it has some drawbacks so hopefully this review helped you to know what you’re thinking about buying.

Great idea of a video. I have just broken my Motorola V235 in a fit of rage when I threw it down on the floor! I liked the phone and am missing it already and wished I had not thrown iton the floor!
